Alexander 'Xander' Upton is one of the kids in the combined 4th and 5th grade class of Poppinstock Academy. A 10-year-old preppy cat, Xander has no desire to ever interact with any other student in his class. He doesn't like them, the school, or the high intellect that landed him in Poppinstock in the first place. Xander is one of the two kids (along with Yvette) that waited the longest to get introduced into the Precocious strip, finally having his name revealed in #347. This, one might assume, would suit him just fine.
