Vincent Iddenstein is one of the kids in the combined 4th and 5th grade class of Poppinstock Academy. A 9-year-old mix of keeshond and other dog breeds, Vincent is as much of a scattershot as his lineage is. He is completely unable to focus in pressure situations, able to cool down only whenever the spotlight is on somebody else. In complete obscurity for much of the comic's run, Vincent has only recently graduated from a Copper Road support role to modest Precocious screen time. He sits on the "other" side of the classroom, far from the zany Sapphire Lake group that doesn't much keep his attention...except, perhaps, for the puppy-love crush that he feels for a certain Autumn Pingo... He was the surprise winner of the first ever Precocious forum "favorite character" poll, beating an exceptionally wide field with 19% of the public vote.
