Ms. Bette Monster is the teacher of the combined 4th and 5th grade class at Poppinstock Academy. Only a woman of her fortitude and wit could keep the kids of Precocious in line, and to her immense credit she does a rather admirable job at it. While the Sapphire Lake kids provide her most continual challenges, all of the kids in her classroom (even the oft-unwitting Max) have undergone the consequences of rousing her tactical prowess. Ms. Monster enjoys dishing torment right back at the children who dare defy her, and she further enjoys bragging about her myriad exploits to her close friend Sky Et. She is a red border collie.
